This bar graph compares how the budget of SFDPW has changed in the past year. The most drastic drops in funding are affecting building repair, street environment services, and street cleaning. Click through to see the graph full-size.

Due to the financial crisis in the state of California, the budget of the San Francisco Department of Public Works has been cut by 8% since the 08-09 fiscal year. These budget cuts are affecting the city of San Francisco by reducing services, such as street sweeping and landscape maintenance, and postponing projects, such as fixing streets. This graph shows how SFDPW has allocated their money and how it has affected seven major categories in the past year.
