Map of 5 Places to Drink for Cheap in San Francisco

A recent article by Allie Pape for, titled “Lowering the Bar: 5 Places to Drink for Cheap (or Free) This Week” is part of their on going weekly dedication to bring the readers the new and best places to drink for cheap. The article was published on February 20th and features their picks for that week. This article needed a map because featured a list of different destinations that offered similar products, however there was no way for the reader to be able to see the locations unless they have already been there. Having a map allows the reader to be able to see where these destinations relate to them and where the live, as well as plan out their adventure.

The first destination is National Margarita Day at Maya. The event will feature a coupon that the reader could get from one of the social networking sites associated with Maya, and will allow them to get margaritas for $5 all day. It also coincides with their weekly event, Tequila Tuesdays, where $10 gets you three large samples of tequila, a margarita, and bar bites like tacos and guacamole.

The second destination is SOM bar which will be hosting a party called The Spirit of El Salvador. The party will have $2 Salvadorean beers and $3 specialty rum cocktails, while DJ’s blast music in the background.

Third on the list of destinations is Bender’s, who will be hosting the SF Barworkers’ Ball, which will have drinks for either free or very cheap. They will also be hosting various contests and DJ’s.

Otis Lounge in the four destination on the list. This Union Square lounge will be hosting a beer tasting party where guests will be able to sample two new brews, Cafe Negro and Kingpin as well as some free snacks.

Last, but not least, on the list is 15 Romolo. The North Beach destination will be gathering some of the city’s best bartenders for a beer-cocktail battle royale that will allow attendees to sample the drinks.
