From 1997 to 2008 San Francisco State University has had a wave progression of the number of degrees granted to students. The information produced by San Francisco State University shows that although there were years where the number of degrees granted went down, over all it has gone up. When comparing 1997 to 2008 it is clear that there has been a jump. The 1997/1998 college year granted 3370 under graduate degrees, and 1068 graduate degrees, however in 2007/2008 there were 4986 undergraduate degrees and 1053 graduate degrees. This information shows that the growth has been more significant in the under graduate degrees, while the graduate degrees have remained more consistent.
